Welcome to Brydan Xavier Psychology.

These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for using my services. By accessing and using our services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. General Information

 

Brydan Xavier Psychology operates from Australia and provides psychological services both within Australia and internationally, excluding clients based in the United States and Canada. Services may be provided in person or via telehealth platforms, subject to the regulations of the client’s jurisdiction.

 

2. Scope of Services

Brydan Xavier Psychology offers:

  • Individual therapy sessions (ACT, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, EMDR).

  • Clinical assessments and diagnostic reports.

  • Counselling tailored to specific needs, including men’s eating disorders and body dysmorphia.

 

All services are provided by registered psychologists in accordance with Australian psychological practice guidelines and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

 

3. Eligibility

  • Clients must be aged 18 or older unless parental or guardian consent is provided for minors.

  • Clients must ensure telehealth services comply with legal and professional requirements in their country of residence.

  • Services are not available to residents of the United States and Canada due to regulatory restrictions.

 

4. Confidentiality and Privacy

  • All sessions are confidential, in line with Australian privacy laws and ethical guidelines.

  • Exceptions to confidentiality include situations where disclosure is required by law or if there is a risk of harm to the client or others.

  • For telehealth sessions, clients are responsible for ensuring a private and secure environment to maintain confidentiality.

 

5. Fees and Payment

  • Session fees will be outlined before commencing services. Payment is required on the day of the appointment, after the session, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods.

  • Cancellation or appointment changes within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment may incur a cancellation fee.

 

6. Telehealth Services

  • Telehealth sessions are conducted via secure platforms.

  • Clients must ensure a stable internet connection and compatible devices for sessions.

  • Brydan Xavier Psychology is not responsible for technical issues on the client’s side.

 

7. Limitations of Services

  • Psychological services provided do not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • If urgent assistance is required, clients should contact local emergency services or crisis support lines.

 

8. Liability

  • Brydan Xavier Psychology takes all reasonable steps to provide quality services but does not guarantee specific outcomes.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brydan Xavier Psychology is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of its services.

 

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • These terms and conditions may be updated periodically. Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or the website.

 

10. Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with Australian legal processes.
