Accessibility Statement

Brydan Xavier Psychology is committed to ensuring that services and resources are accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or circumstances. The goal is to provide an inclusive environment that supports the diverse needs of clients and visitors.

1. Commitment

Efforts are made to comply with relevant accessibility standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, to provide equitable access to services both online and in person. The aim is to ensure that every individual has a positive and barrier-free experience.

2. Website Accessibility

  • The website is designed to be accessible to users with varying abilities. Structured layouts, alternative text for images, and intuitive navigation support screen readers and other assistive technologies.

  • Regular reviews are conducted to identify and address potential accessibility barriers.

  • For difficulties accessing any part of the website, assistance is available upon request.

3. In-Person Accessibility

  • Wheelchair access is not available without at least two weeks' notice due to the need to arrange a change of rooms within the office presence.

  • Future practice spaces will take into consideration the accessibility of the space to ensure inclusivity.

  • Accommodations for clients with sensory, mobility, or other specific needs are provided upon request.

  • Specific accessibility requirements should be communicated in advance to allow for appropriate arrangements.

4. Telehealth Accessibility

  • Telehealth platforms are chosen to support a range of assistive technologies, enabling accessible remote consultations.

  • Technical challenges or additional support needs during telehealth sessions will be addressed promptly.

5. Feedback and Continuous Improvement

Feedback on how to improve accessibility is valued. Suggestions, concerns, or reports of barriers while engaging with services are encouraged and will be addressed promptly.
